My other Dell monitor was registered in someone else's name and I have to wait for a week to have the ownership transferred before I can receive warranty support. When I contacted Dell customer service, I was informed that because there is no service tag on my monitor I will have to attach it to another monitor which has a service tag. I have tried 2 separate cables and they both work on three other monitors, including a Dell U2713HM, which has a higher resolution. The DVI-D connection is not recognized at all. When I received the monitor and tried connecting it to my mac, the VGA connection gets recognized, but, without the maximum resolution supported by the monitor.
I purchased a Dell S2340M monitor on 2 weeks ago.
